see that wasn't so bad
though i guess we better call it a night
or everyone will be mad
they'll wonder why don't we post this in our blog
and as they see the room smoking into a fog
The versus discussions how they continue on and on
The backbiting, slander, gossiping pro and con
the endless, and long debates
the broken record of hates
Will it go on and on and on
when will this end
when can we stop this nonsense
and mend
work together not against each other,
afterall we are muslims sisters and brothers
alhamdulillah for what we are,
and what we'll become
but if we continue this phony act
we'll be nothing but bums.

soooo...get off your high horse and start practicing what you preach
start learning and keep on reading, and teach
Thank Allah for this wonderful day
Another chance for you to ask forgiveness and pray
Thank Allah for this beautiful night
Best to get along and not fight
Thank Allah for the rain that falls on down
Better to be happy than to wear a frown
Life is short, not easy you know
One minute you're here, then you're the next to go
Standing there waiting for your turn,
then Allah will ask you in your life what have you yet to learn?
Don't forget ME is what I told you to do
Yet you ignored it thinking its not really up to you
You did whatever you had to do because you thought you knew best
you denied all my creations, good and bad not realizing was a test
Than you wake up and realize it was only a dream
Yet you're only seconds away as it seems
Perhaps you have some time to reflect
repent to Allah and not reject
increase your love, remembrance and deen,
and realize islam is the best you've ever seen.
